About Jessica

Art serves as my lens for interpreting the world, allowing me to illuminate the beauty found in everyday objects. Through my creations, I connect with my emotions, articulating feelings that are often difficult to express verbally. My artistic style features bright colors, whimsy, and a sense of playfulness, which I hope contributes a touch of joy to your day as well.

My academic journey began with a degree in Art Practice from the University of California, Berkeley. I further expanded my skills by pursuing a second degree in Fashion Illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Since graduating in 2014, I have been pursing my career as a freelance illustrator and artist.

Throughout my artistry, I have been fortunate to journey through various locations, each influencing my work in unique ways. From the vibrant culture of the San Francisco Bay Area to the dynamic energy of New York City, I have also enjoyed enriching residencies in Norway and Baltimore. My life in Barcelona for a couple of years added another layer of inspiration to my artistic portfolio. Currently, I reside in Frederick, Maryland, where I share my life with my husband and three sons, continuing to create art that reflects my experiences and connections.
